So I'm trying to replace the fork seals on my KLR but I don't have one of those tools you stick down the tube to catch the inside piece. The Allen bolt on the bottom slider is too tight and I can't seem to cram anything in there tight enough to hold the inside piece. Does anyone on the board have one of those fork tools? I only need it for 10 minutes ;) If not, any other ideas? I've tried 1/2" extensions with a piece of t-shirt wrapped around the end (this has worked in the past) and I've even tried using my no-mar tire tool since it's about the right size but no go. Nothing grips that piece on the inside. thanks.
