Traded an old boat for my XL500R. :D Pretty much the same as when I sold it over a year ago excepting a broken tail light lens and headlight switch.
Now I have my street dedicated bike and a dual sport.

Update updated. I insisted that my brother in law try to ride the XL500R around Easter. He rode it about 25 feet then laid it over breaking the brake light switch, front brake lever, headlight, and bending all the bendable stuff.
Fast forward to today......
Got 4 new turn signals, bought a 84 VF700S Sabre for the headlight (seriously) replaced a few things, and I'm back in business. :D

Did you use the fairing off the sabre or just the headlight???

Same headlight as in the picture at the top of this post. I have the fairing that came with the bike but it's still on the floor of the garage. It has it's own headlight.

Due to new lower back issues. I can't ride a bike that is kick-start only. Well, I can ride it, I just can't start it without making a bad situation worse. I'll be listing it in the for sale section.:( I won't let it sit up and ruin.
