Does anyone have a spare front shock laying around?

I am pulling the Ohlins out to send back for warranty, but the shock the original owner gave me isn't off the front of a GS aswerfg. I don't want to leave it without one for the month (hopefully) it will take to return.

I really don't want to have to pull everything apart again so I won't be riding on it until the Ohlins returns. I just feel safer with something other than straps holding the front steady. If not I won't be able to do this :boring: at night.

What kind of straps are you using? I would think any decent motorcycle strap tied to a secure foundation would be more than adequate for holding the bike up until you get your Ohlins back.

But this is being replied to so late that you probably already have it all buttoned up together.

Yeap, Ohlins called today to say that it is fixed and warranty will cover it. I should be back on the rode this weekend or next depending on UPS.

Thanks though.

I had one you could have used, but it is at home. I wouldn't have been able to get it for a couple of weeks. If you find that you still need one, let me know and I will pick it up on my next trip home.

Shouldn't but thanks. It should be back at my house in a couple days.

There are several used on ADV right now for cheap. I'd pick up a set to have just in case!
