View Full Version : Just restored site after a major web server crash... ANY PROBLEMS REMAIN?

I just finished restoring the site after aparently yahoo decided to delete the largest part of our database (the part which contained ALL the forum posts)... so after 3 hours of restoring manually I think I have it back together in one piece...

If anyone notices ANY problems with the site since the restore please let me know... I also went ahead and tweaked some settings a little bit which will probably help speed up the server...

Site now working with a good turn of speed. One issue - I was uploading a post with several pictures on when site was playing up and it won't let me edit that post. 1 pic is not fully loading. Can you delete my post or fix it and I will repost? Here is the link it is post #16

Can we sue them for discrimination and make them provide us free dedicated server hosting for life? Maybe we can claim that we are motorcyclists as a race and that their negligence in failing to provide an adequate server has harmed our race as a whole... class action lawsuit!

I hope you brought you a DSRL shirt to take a pic in singapore with... I mean we just had England/Scotland... it'd be cool to have DSRL in singapore too!
