What in the sam hell are those things? I have only seen hand warmers like that on 4 wheelers.... don't they cause allot of drag with wind at higher speeds? I know your paws have to be warm though!

Alrighty then. Been a while. Too busy with grand-rats, work & the wife. Then I get bronchitis. It's still hanging around so if anyone heard a Buell go by with the rider making a bunch of hacking & choking noises this morning, that was me.

Started on 190 West and the headed down the river road on the west side. Nice ride. More markers just out in the middle of nowhere than I expected. I hit the sunshine bridge and came home.

Good point about the Myrtles. It's a mile or so north of town and I just stayed in the "downtown area". Next time, probably on my way to Woodville.... :)

Nice pics...just a question though...what was that thing on the back of your bike...is that where you installed your flux capacitor???

Hi John.

That was a four gallon fuel cell I added when I was running back and forth to Atlanta about every six weeks. Total capacity ended up being about 7.9 gallons and I could usually get 380+ miles between stops. Lots better than the 170 with just the OEM tank. It was gravity feed and was plumbed into the main tank vent. Fill and close the main, then fill the auxilliary. Ride until you hit the idiot light. Worked great.
