I tell you I have seen those Karoos in action and they are pretty badass...

I wish they made that Terraflex in my size..

I think you should get a Cr50 rear wheel and we will make it fit on your bike.. Think of the wheelies you will be able to pop..

I don't know about the Karoo's in that size, but in a 150 on the back of a GS they sing better than Celine Dion with her foot caught in a bear trap!

The terra flex is a true desert tire. I used to run them on my CR500 when I was desert racing. It was one of the only tires that I wouldn't rip the knobs right off of. It uses a very hard rubber compound making them tough and heavy. Due to this hard compound, they are shit on the street for traction in the corners. I would highly recommend the MT21's. I have run those on many 600+ cc dual sports and they are very competent in the dirt and work pretty well on the street.

I really like them. They have worked well on both my tourances and TKC 80's.

That's what I've heard about the "terror" flex, also - no good on the street. Pirelli makes good street rubber. Ditto on the MT21, given the choices you've shown. The TKC 80 and Dunlop 606 are good also but don't expect much more than 2k - 3k miles at best out of those tires on the road.
