Electric permit?

What in the hell? I have never had to do somthing like this? A permit to get electricity put in my name on a new construction? Geez what is the world coming to. I mean the house already has power.

I had to get one for an existing house out in Gonzales. They just want to get their $15 any way they can... I thought it was stupid but what you gonna do? I had to take an afternoon off work to go get the permit. They almost made me get one from the health inspector before they would give me the power permit.

Livingston parish you have to get one for the elect, then one from the health unit about your sewer..... for elect.? and I will have to take a evening off to do all this crap.

Well took the evening off, got it done. Maybe I will close in the next few days.... Apartment life is killin me!
