How many are using Inline Fuel Shut Off Valves and what kind are you using?
Also, for those that have the Shut Off Valve, how many have an in-line filter?

I've used in-line filters without problems. With the bigger engines, you may need to find a "high flow" filter. never added an inline shut-off cause the tank usually has the petcock shut-off, or FI only runs the pump with the key on.

The only bikes I've ever had with inline cutoffs have been carb'd bikes... (I am guessing so you can stop flooding of the carbs)... I think the fuel filter tho would help with just about any bike and I've been meaning to put one on mine... cleaner the fuel better the burn and less damage to your engine over the long haul... and they are real easy to install and change on bikes especially if you have a fuel line somewhere fairly easily accessible...

It's a carb'ed bike and the in-line fuel cutoff will be low cost insurance.

The only things you have to worry about really is 1) making sure that you dont pinch the fuel line where you run it 2) the cut off is not in a location where it can be knocked while riding (you don't want it accidentally killing on you)
Besides that there is probably no reason not to do it :)
