View Full Version : Bike to Bike communication
I spent the day riding with a friend who is looking for a house in this area. We decided that being able to talk rather than point and flip each other off would have been helpful. Please school the newb (me) on what type of equipment I need to be able to talk bike to bike.

chad i have used the interphone, and like it alot. its ONLY useful for TWO riders.
i have since gone to autocomm, which allows the use of all kinds of junk, it sounds better imo....

Sorry I missed you today to... Maybe next time...
Josh was a great host and showed Brady around the Man-Cave that he keeps reading about.
I have been looking at the autocom system, so here go the questions - Is it difficult to use it with FRS/GMRS? I have a set of those.

These guys make good products. I'm very happy with the multiplexer & helmet speakers I got for my Zumo and V1.

That's a "wired" system, right? Did you (or anyone) try a wireless/bluetooth setup with a seperate radio so you caould talk to more than one other rider? What kind of radio are you guys using with the Autocom setup?

sure is. interphone by blueant is small and works well rider to rider. the problem is its mono and ONE speaker.
the main thing i dont like about wireless are the helmet attachments ARE huge..
wired isnt bad. if you want you can try mine.
im going to wash my bike and ride to the police competition at cabelas and maybe head to the carshow at lamar dixon
we are using frs radios. you can use any.... BUT i kept the interphone so i can integrate the zumo/phone with dialing

the interphone can only pair with one other rider at a time
You plug the FRS into the Autocom?

yes, you can plug anything into it. frs, gps, mp3, cell, radar, cb...
