Youse guys should oughta do this.
The rollout is 9AM form the Shoney's in Denham Springs on the SE corner at Exit 10 on I-12.
Big twisties and a ferry ride to BBQ in the middle. End up back in DS. Should be around a 4 hour day and have you back doing honey-do's by 2PM depending on how far you live from Denham Springs.
Scroll down for final route and info:

Man, what a beautiful day to ride!
Twisties just about all the way! I would lag back and then smoke past all 13 bikes. Lag back..... I scared one guy when I passed him on the inside of a tight left 90deg with a car in the oncoming lane. I gotta remember to ride cruiser-style with the cruisers or issue Pampers.
My buddy (ex flat tracker) has a 1300 Honda VTX and he rolled on with me through some turns. I took them deeper and lost him by a few lengths (he's insane on that VTX), exit speed 78mph and then hit a straight in full tuck at 97mph. He freakin' BLEW by me on the long straight. Told me he hit 120mph. I believe him.
Good food at the Magnolia Cafe after a ride on the ferry.
Got home at 4pm. Great day!

So let's see you road Interstate, some 4 lane Hwy, and about 100 feet of decent roads. Next time you want to go riding let me know and I'll show you some roads that are the reason you bought that tard thing.
I'm just pickin', but seriously if you were the least bit impressed with that ride. We NEED to meet up one weekend at 7:00 AM and I'll show you some routes that will make you wet your pants. Oh yea, and I won't have you back in time to do honey-dos.
Do you have a gps?

The only interstate I saw all day in 180 miles was I-12 to hwy110 south in the beginning and then hwy16 south into Watson/Denham, where I live, at the end. Other than that, it was all good! One lane each way, lotsa tight/blind 90deg turns to stuff folks!
No gps.
I have no doubt you know some awesome routes, but you couldn't fault this one!
