Went out for a while with a guy I work with today so he could practice shooting a bike. Here are a few of the shots. I'm pretty happy with them, although I need to get more lean.

This last one is a spot on Peterson Rd. It's a hard left into a hill that crests perfectly so that if you pin it in third it just floats the nose over the crest.

'Twas a nice day to be out.

+1 Nice Pics.

I'd love to get some shots of me like that, but I'm usually the one with the camera.

Saturdays are best for me!!
Probably better to wait until after the Holiday though.

We found a few good spots. The hardest part was locating a spot that had a decent background with the light going in the correct direction that allowed you to do something even remotely interesting while staying on the correct side of the road. I'll be up for the picture ride if I'm in town.

who needs to be on the correct side of the road?!? :wheelie: ;)

i wouldn't mind a couple pics of the urban jumps in town if i ever get back to finding a good one i saw a while back, but don't remember the street name. maybe a wheelie pic or two. not that i would do that on public roads though.

Great pics. If you guys set up a shoot I will try to make it too. I need some practice on both sides of the camera.

Great pics, man!
I think I may have sen you out solo today, maybe?
At quick glance, I thought it was the red gs, it had bags like yours... just not 100% of the color...
We had an awesome ride today!

Yep that was me. I thought I saw the KiLleR in the group we passed. Would've been right after you either passed or got off JVC and were heading towards St Francisville.

Sounds like there was a bit less drama this week?

On another topic, where did you get the set of bars for protecting your jugs, tank (and it also looks like your pipes?)? I am looking for a good (yet reasonably-priced...is that an oxymoron?) set for my GS.

Howdy!

Those are the OEM protectors for a GS-Adventure. The lowers would probably work, but the uppers would look preety odd if you have a regular GS with the smaller tank. (And being BMW parts, I'm sure they're not cheap.) The bash plate is aftermarket, but I'm not sure who makes it as it was on the bike when I bought it.
