is it getting good spark at idle? are any of the jets clogged? if it were me, i'd try cleaning the carb real good, and making sure to get all the jets real good (not just the pilot jet), then change the plug and give it a shot.

I cleaned the carb for him at the track and it looked fine. It will run on choke only. It appears to me to have a crank seal issue. Like it is not getting enough vacume to pull fuel.

It's leaking fuel like the floats are sticking. We got a few months to get it sorted out.

Go to Mikes and get a new needle and seat.....or did you already get a new carb? The needle is not rubber tipped like many others so it is possible that it is worn....but that still doesn't seem right. Even if it is leaking it should run WFO without the choke. When WFO, it should get plenty of fuel to mix with the large amount of air but yours is starving.

Hope you get back on the track soon Brandon. As it will run on choke, it sounds as if it could be a needle problem. Flooding could be a sticking or holed float even with a new carb (it could be faulty or floats knocked and jammed in transit)

we have not put the new carb on yet.
