This one is a "Men of Honor" hard hat rig. This particular suit was actually used in WWII for salvage of the ships sunk at Pearl Harbor. I was honored to be able to dive in that suit.

Yep.. I have a huge respect for the guy that spent an 8 hour shift underwater in that thing at Pearl Harbor doing salvage work. It is very cumbersome out of water because each shoe is a 40 pound weight, and the weight belt itself is another 60 pounds or so. The helmet itself and the collar around my neck that it attaches to is about 40. You absolutely cannot stand up without assistance from the surface support crew.

After you are in the water the diver must control the air coming into the helmet and suit with the valve on my chest. The valve on the right side of the helmet is the exhaust adjustment which has to be set according the airflow from the input valve, or you either look like the Michelin man and pop to the surface (a really bad thing... causes embolism, death and other upsetting stuff!) or the suit deflates and you crash to the bottom and might not be able to stand back up.

Then, on top of all that, you really cannot see very well through the 4" portholes you have to look through! The whole experience requires a cool head and not being subject to panic if things get FUBAR.

The "Men of Honor" movie is quite real based on my hour of diving that suit, and being allowed into a real part of WWII history. Cool12

Yeah, I have one of those TLD speed jackets on underneath. Trust me, it looks even more ridiculous without the jersey. I look like Robocop. I am going to sweat bullets in this rig. I was sweating in the house with the a/c pumping and I didn't even have gloves, boots or a lid on. Oh well, the price you pay for safety!

Technically, yes. It is still in my shed. However, it is sold awaiting pickup. Awesome bike and fun as hell. However, it was killing me on long rides due to the hunched over position. I am just too old for clubman bars. So, I sold it to buy the Husky. Not that the Husky is much more comfy (the seat is murder), but I was dying for a Supermoto bike. I can't say that I am disappointed in my decision.

WOW...What a ride! Great gang! I've asked God and Wife for forgiveness everyday since and I was near the back of the pack. I only had one pair of underwear and I had to chunk'um. We didn't have a chance to ride the tight stuff just the WIDE OPEN road. They did made me want a sport bike (not a suzuki) to take to NPR. I feel blessed to be alive!!

Yeah, how did you put us together? He doesn't claim in public. I was there with my daughter on the street bike for a little while. Sounds like everyone had a good time at the pit bike party.

Can you tell me what's involved in converting my CR450F into a supermotard? Ryan wants to sell the KX450F and get a 09 CRF450 so I get the 07 back. I can split riding time with him on the 09 at the MX track. I've seen one website that sells kits the cost range from $3,000.00 to $4,000.00, I might not need all there selling?

Notice how the funny looking long thing refered to as a bill, It is supposed to be on the front of the hat, its primary design is to shade your eyes and generally makes life happier..

This is the incorrect way to wear a hat..

Notice how this confused youth is having to hold his hand up to block the sun.. Which is the job of the bill on the hat...In this case the bill is shading nothing but his neck.. Which is red anyway so whats the point???

I understand that some people think its cool to wear hats in a manner the opposite of which it was designed..
When hats are worn backwards in such a manner it can create a condition called .. Ignoramus douchebagicus sunburnosity..... The main symptom is a sun burned nose and a peculiar mark on the forehead...

I didn't take it as being made fun of? I wear my hat how I like it. I wore it plenty like that before she even knew me. I played baseball from when I was 5 till I finished playing in junior college. I wore my hat forward plenty.

But yes I do listen to her opinions and do things that makes her happy. In return she does things that makes me happy. Im pretty certain thats what makes a relationship work.
