I would like to have this dinner within the next two weeks, so post up with some viable dates. As for the checks, make them out to "Children's Hospital" and bring them with you the night of the dinner. If you cannot make the dinner, pm me for my address and you can mail it to me.

WOW!! This was a great adventure for me. I truly enjoyed it! I never took the time to read the markers till now. This was a learning experience for me and my kids that I’m sure will continue for years to come. My son has started his collection.

I PM'd Stunt about this and here is what I have to add to the remarkable project everyone has contributed to. My step father is VP of marketing for Children's. I was telling him what everyone had done and why you had done it. He thought it would be great if there was some way to get all of the photos of the markers into a scrap book that could be shown to the children at the Hospital. I don't know how to do that but it is a cool idea. He also said that if ya'll wanted him to, he and his wife (my mother) could meet all of you at Ruth's to accept the donation on behalf of Children's. That is your call. Let me know if you would like for me to schedule that for him or not.

I have given some thought to a scrapbook also. Breaking it down into the general areas (ie. Westbank River Rd., New Orleans, Baton Rouge, etc.) A "guesstimate" for picture printing puts it in the $100 range. If anyone else wants to pitch in a few bucks, I'd be happy to try and put something together.

Unless somebody already has experience doing something like that? In which case I'd be happy to pitch in a few bucks to them.
