I just bought a 2006 DRZ 400S. I think it does alright off road for 290 lb pig but it is real squirrely on the pavement or gravel. It needs a steering damper real bad. It also does not have enough power for me and is front-end heavy. Even with a Dyno jet kit and smaller CS sprocket, it will not do 1st wheelies without some serious clutch abuse (forget about 2nd gear wheelies). Can anyone give me a comparison to the DR650. I almost bought the DR but thought that the suspension was too crude for off-road and the weight was too much.
