Hahaaaa! Yea, it's a 1972 Yamaha DS7. The predecessor to the RD250.
That thing had been sitting for atleast the 5 years that I've had it. I'm sure it's been sitting much longer than that though, since the way y'all saw it this morning was pretty much they way I got it. I'm so tickled that it ran today that I'm still smiling! Hell, I got it home and started it up again!
I can't thank Walt enough for his help, and his conviction. He said "we'd get it to run", and he was right.
I'm so grateful, I'm going to name my firstborn son Walt...
of course he may not like the idea, since we've been calling him Derek for the past 16 years. But he'll get over it :D

That's hilarious!!! When ya'll first started tearing that thing apart I said that if anyone would get it running it was Walt. They asked, "He knows a lot about bikes huh?" I said, "Not really, he's stubborn enough not to quit messing with it until it starts though."

We couldn't have done it without the Cajun Injector!!
I can't wait to ride it!!
Yeah, Team Redneck is an amazing guy. If there's a game, or a fight, or a war, or if we're playing Red Rover, I wanna be on his team.

I can say that waking up and getting on a float in P-ville and drinking all day and riding in the Spanish Town Parade was fun... but looks like I missed seeing everyone and a kick ass tech day!
