Hey guys. As alot of you already know I'm planning a trip down to Mexico next month. Well, in 48 hours I'll have three weeks off that will consist of a bachelor party, Easter, a wedding, and getting ready for that trip. Since alot of my gear hasn't been tested yet, I am thinking of getting all of my stuff together early and making a ride up to Sedalia, Missouri to test everything out before heading south of the border. Starting on the 17th I'd head up into Arkansas, ride around the Ozarks and stay the night somewhere in Arkansas. On the 18th head up to Sedalia and stay the night with friends. Head straight home on the 19th via the superslab.

I haven't talked to my friends up in Sedalia yet, so if they won't be available on that day, then it would just be two nights and days of riding around Arkansas. I've always gone up via the interstate so I have no idea what backroads to take and will use this as a good indication of how easy the GPS and maps will be to follow in Mexico.

I'm planning this as a solo ride, but am mroe than willing to take along any guides/stragglers. :D

I'm not sure if I'm going to put on the TKC's or not. I absolutley HAVE to change tires when I get home though and I have a set of TKC's and Tourances sitting in the garage. I'll run the Tourances down to Mexico, but they should make both trips with no problems. HOWEVER, if I run the TKC's then I can get a pretty good idea of the wear that that will develop on the slab after about 2000 miles, huh?

Hell, I might just do that! Then if I see they could handle another 1500miles I'll just order another set and put them on for the Mexico trip. Damn it Weave, now I'm going to have to spend more money cause of your question!!

65 is the way I go to Arkansas, to visit grandparents & family. They live in Dewitt, right before Stuttgart & Hazen on the other side of Stuttgart.
Nice roads, though this time of the yr, u might come up on some farm equipment on the roads. Watch ur speed through the small towns!!!!
If my grandparent's house in Hazen wasn't empty of furniture & we hadn't turned the electricity & water, so on off, then I'd offer to let u crash there if u needed to on the way there or way home, Sorry!!

Dudes, I'm up in Sedalia now. Will and I came up via Hwy. 7 and then switched over to 23 to try out the twisties up through the Ozarks. Awesome roads!!! Pictures have been taken and I'll be sure to put up a report when I get home.
