So, is that another XR650R? What are you going to do with two? Is there another trade in the works? Do you need someone to keep one for you for a while?

the other one is my friend jake's. he traded my old CRF450X for it. that's why i made the second trip to asheville friday-sunday. riding the gap with a friend was better than riding it solo.

Great looking bikes. Getting easier to start now that you know the trick?

yes indeed. well, except once today. i stopped by friendly, and i guess i gave it a little too much throttle right as it fired up or something. it killed and i didn't get it to crank for about 20 minutes. besides that, it's one or two kicks.

If I can get my tire fixed before then, I'm down Jay.

i was thinking about making a ride out to moore park with the mini-motard for once, but might ride around here instead since it's cheaper and i'm a broke ass.

keith, do you have a tube? cycle gear had them in stock a while back when i got a nail in my rear tire. i can help you change it if you need help. i've got a few spoons.

Phuck man. That sucks.

Any way you could cut something and hook a coupling and use 2 clamps? Without damaging anything further?

yeah, i could probably jerry rig something with a brass fitting, but im not sure how i could attach it to the line w/o cutting the coupler. i know what happens when fuel leaks onto a hot motor. i'll just wait until next weekend.

besides, i have had a mild fever and a serious cold for the last few days, and my head isn't in the game, which is probably why i broke the damn thing to begin with.
