Picked her up today form Hebert Cycles. Clark took very good care of me and gave me a great deal. Cooney (David) met me there and we had a great time riding 22. I also ran into Ka5ysy (Doug) at Hebert's. Good seeing you again Doug!
I'm looking forward to riding with y'all again!!!

She sure is pretty. Sorry, I couldn't walk over and check her out. I had every intention, but had to go on a recovery mission at the last minute....Congrats Austin, I'm looking forward to making some rides with ya this summer.

As the photographer for the mounted picture, I can tell you that is a really fine bike with a proper bash plate. From BMW yet ! Guess they actually listen to the riders sometime.
Now for some Thompson-Creek-Buried-in-Sand photos..... (!)
Congratulations on the new ride !
BTW: How was LA22?

I knew I would never live down Thompson Creek! At least this bike is a little lighter. :D
LA22 was nice. Not to much traffic and I was able to wear off most of the chicken strips off of the back tire. The bike is very light on it's "feet".:bow2:

Good looking bike-
I saw you tooling around BR earlier. I was sitting at the light at Coursey and Home Depot and you came tooling down the road on that Yella Beast.

You should have chased me down! I can't believe I was able to get my wife to agree to let me do this. I did strongly consider your KTM, but I decided I wanted something a little bigger and the 800 fits what I was looking for.

Ooooh. That timing won't work for me. :nopity: With the new job and the week I just took off, I've got to give it a bit before I disappear again. Sometime in the fall might be better but even that wouldn't be 100% until I get a few more months under my belt at Geismar.
Obviously, don't let that change plans if everyone else can make it.

Visible therein is one of, in my opinion, the most significant differences between the F800 and the F650: The 21" front wheel.

The suspension even more. My F650 botttoms out regularly. On the road, I like the 19" more than the 21" but offroad it's the reverse.
