chris burchfield from gamra miniroadracing is coming to lafayette from mississippi to ride moore park go kart track; 25dollars for day; sign release form and gear required; you guys from batonrouge, hammond covington neworleans need to come out and try out the new track surface;

bump; still planning on riding saturday; just a reminder; went ride the little track yesterday made 3 30 minute sessions; went today made 2 20 minute sessions ; didnt ride as much but drank a lot more beer when i was finished ; hoping to see a few of yall out there sat;

Carl, how would my DR do out there with some 50/50 tires? Worth the ride over?

matt i ride my dr on the go kart tracks and enjoy it with distanzias; thats youre call ; i would think you would have to be a little carefull with those tires; if you decide to give it a try ill let you ride my crf150 and my dr so you can see what it is like on the go kart tracks; have 17inch rims and race tires on my crf150; youll get a kick out of that little bike it really sticks well

matt ; now that i think about it ; the other day when you had those knobbies on the street very curvateous roads; i was having to ride pretty hard time with those distanzias keeping up with you; if you have the same tires you had on youre klr at no problem i think youll do just fine; you were hauling ass at no problem; go kart track speeds are a lot slower but the curves are sharper

ill be out there by 8.30 sat morn; i just got back from the track rode two sessions on the dr and one session on the crf; i actually ride more on the dr than the crf on the little track; i think youll be surprised at how much youll enjoy it

had a good time at the trackday sat; was a little warm and the turnout was low; was able to get in about 5 sessions ; will try another trackday soon

Caleb and I would have shown up but we were racing a Florida supermoto round in Pensacola. Caleb beat all the adults in the mini race (including me) and is now leading their kids championship. Their will be another supermoto round there in the fall, complete with a small dirt section. It was a lot of fun. Hope to see some of you try it next time.

congrats caleb; yes i would like to try the pensacola track; maybe we can make the gamra race in pensacola; i will definitely be looking forward to the jacksonville and gulfport races;

went the last two late afternoons to mpr ----moore park raceway and made a couple of sessions and drank a few beers after; put a distanzia 150-60 tire on the back of the suzuki dr650 and put the stock 15 tooth rear sprocket on down from a 16 tooth; the 150 tire is the supermoto compound and a better profile; i cant believe the difference it made on the go kart track;
