I plan on putting these puppies in tomorrow and see how they perform. If you don't know what they are, here are some links.

Been reading about these for the DR650 on ADV. They've had had fairly good things to say about them. Only complaint is some guys are complaining of excessive noise after they install them. Good luck and let us know how they work. I'm thinking about maybe trying these instead of Race Tech Gold Valve emulators.

I have the emulators and they are the best thing I've done to the DR. These may be even better although I have only read a little about them. I could sure use something like that for my F650.

Easy installation! And, very little brake dive. I haven't put any miles at all since the install but so far the front really seams to be much firmer. After some miles I'll give another report.

I just got a set for my Wee, but I haven't installed them yet. Got some straight rate springs from Sonic too, and then read that the Ricor Intiminators work better with slightly softer springs than you might normally get. I hope my springs aren't too stiff.

I am looking to order the same for my 07 Wee. Everything that I've seen has been .95 Sonic Springs with 10w on the fork oil. The Intiminators work better with 5w. Let me know how the install goes. I've seen a couple of different ways of handling the install. Let me know how you install goes. I might have a few questions.

Will do. I got .95 springs, but after reading more on the ADVRider thread I'm wishing I had got .90. I'm about 225 with gear and ride fairly aggressively.

The word for the day is HOLY SHIT!!!! I finished the install and took it for a spin today. They work so good I rode in the ditch and my yard all the way to the highway which is about a mile. Once on the highway and interstate I realized that a lot of the crap i was feeling in the bars was actually coming from the highway, because it was 200% smoother. I am simply amazed at how simple the install is for what you get. Now I will tell you that they are a bit noisy as you can hear the oil straining to get through the valves when you brake hard or hitting the big bumps. Unbelievable is about the best way to sum these up.

Installed these in my F650GS Twin last weekend. They are amazing!! It's wonderful on the rough bumps at higher speeds and half the brake dive. The bike is much more manageable offroad. This should be a great mod for the VStrom also or any other bike with damping rod forks.

I took out the Race Tech emulators and installed the Intiminators in the DR650 but they are noisy for some unknown reason (loud clicking sound). This ONLY happened on the DR650. The BMW is not noisy.

The manufacturer (Ricor) said that the fit might be too tight. He gave me some instructions on increasing the gap in the ring spacer to allow for less friction but it will have to wait until next weekend.

After riding for a few months now, the clicking noise is only noticeable on really hard hits, when the forks compress over half their travel quickly (bad potholes, big tree roots etc). I hear it in both bikes now but only if I don't have earplugs in, and only if I'm going slow to where the road/wind noise doesn't drown it out.

I'm convinced that the noise is the brass sleeve when it hits the stop on compression. Fortunately, it has no effect on performance.
