Depends on how bad it is and if it is crash damage. I can true a wheel, but if it's bent then it just gets ugly. You have to be real good to true a damaged wheel.

You can do it just read up on it and don't get carried away. If you mess with one side too much the dish (the distance from the hub to the edge of the rim) gets out of wack.

Since somehow this thread turned into a COMPLETELY off topic discussion...LOL I though I would give a quick heads up.

All Pro Cycles in Baker can do it...778-1400 but they are backloged with work. Also, Friendly Yamaha/Honda has a mechanic that can do it. It is an art form and one that I have NEVER had the desire to learn. That shit is hard to do properly.
