We have lost Lyle Grimes of Westwego. Lyle was a BMW rider with 1,200,000 miles under his belt. That's not a typo error. His was active in the Gulf South BMW club of New Orleans and Mississippi BMW club. Lyle could be found at most BMW Motorcycle Owners Association rallys anywhere in the country. He was 79 years old and going home from a rally when he went off the road south of Nachitoches and died. He was the mileage coordinator for years in the BMWMOA. In Louisiana he would win the mileage contest every year for years. We could not even get close to him. He was a good man and will be missed in the riding community all across the USA. Say a prayer for him.
