one quick trip through the woods will fix ya up...
Seriously, though, how did you go about making them?
how do they mount to the bike?

The 2 side boxs come off really easy with 4 couter pins and the top is held on with a steel lip that goes under the rack and 2 u bolts

One thing you might find you need is a cross bar across the back on the bottom. When you load down the cases, it will put stress on the top weld and could possibly bend your nice bracket. The other thing is if your bike decides to take a nap you are much more likely to bend or break that weld without the cross bar.

i was thinking about the rear support but didn't think it was a big deal, but didn't have enough steel but i really think im going to cut a few inces off the sides and while im at it i'm gonna put a support bar.
thanks for the advice
They look good, but I would put in a crossbar. I have dropped mine a few times and it has held up great and saved the plastics.

You should consider converting one of the bags to an extra fuel tank! :D

looks good Joe. I think those supports will help out a lot if you were to ever go down and it will help with a heavy load.

That looks terrible! But very useful...
You may want to keep the weight kinda low... the alum. subframe is probably the weak point in that setup.

Thanks guys I like it and I know I'll have room to bring what ever I want if u want to go any where
Matt the S model has a beeffed up sub frame so it should be fine handling anything, if it can hold my fat ass I think it'll do ok

Yea I know it's bigger, but I'd still keep an eye on it being aluminum instead of steel like on the big pigs like the KLR.
Hey can you carry a case of beer to the campout for me??? :cheeseburger:
