Gulf Oaks, Anybody?

I think its time we all got together for a race weekend in Saucier. The schedule calls for Oct 24-25. Caleb and I will be running at Starke with Semra that weekend, and I hope some of you guys are planning on making the trip.
I'm thinking Gulf Oaks Nov 14-15. (plenty of time to get a certain DRZ400 ready). Who's in?

Hello All,

GAMRA has been struggling to stay afloat this year due to numerous factors.

So, now we are down to the last race for the season. It will be at Saucier, MS at Gulf Oaks Speedway the weekend of Nov 14 & 15, 2009. Track day on Sat, the 14th. Racing on Sunday, the 15th. We plan to meet to talk about the future of GAMRA for next season also after the races on Sunday.

We would love to have the LA gang come out and ride with us!

unfortunately had a change in plans; my wife is using the camper this weekend to go to a rodeo in north louisiana; so i decided to ride at mpr saturday and leave at 5 sunday morning drive up to gulf oaks ride and then drive back sunday afternoon; works been extremely slow so i could save a few bucks doing it that way; phil let me know what you want to do if you want to ride up with me sunday morning i could pick you up on the way

I was thinking the same thing about going up Sunday. My heel is hurting real good this morning, I hope it subsides by the weekend. If not I don't think I'll make it. Hell, I've been sidelined since August, I feel like I'm never gonna get any track time in. Maybe it's a sign not to ride the tracks?lol

If I can get the deal I want on one of the two bikes I'm looking at, I'm planning on picking it up Saturday. And if my heel feels ok, I might make a Sunday ride. I'll let you know by Friday.

i hate to throw a wrench in our plans but i just found out this morning about the camper and all; i feel i need to try to support gamra as much as possible; though the saturday ride and the beer drinking camp fire and campout and the camaradarie is the best part for me; if possible im gonna try to make it out sunday for the races
