Carl, now that TTD cancelled I've gotta look at plan "B", which is responsibilities. I'd like to make it out there also and will let you know.

too bad the dirt section is gonna be to wet to ride; last trackday we had a ball riding the dirt section including the paved section; it takes about 3days for the dirt to dry enough to ride; karl fricke's lap times were 55seconds long running the dirt and the asphalt together; you make 10 or 15 laps and you realize how long the lap times are

just got back from the track; turnout was low ; just me; got a chance to ride my new bike the wr 250 and have to say i am very happy with it; made 4 30 minute sessions and the bike ran very well no problems thank god; today was what they call a dreary day; the track never dried up the whole day and the sun never even considered coming out; even though had a good time; hopefully we will get a break in this rainy weather; hope to see yall soon

chopt i like the new bike; unfortunately the track was wet all day so it was hard to tell ; it is not as intense as the 450 ; the powerband starts a lot lower in the rpm range and holds steady then at the top of the rpm range it pulls real strong; just for riding and enjoyment i think ill enjoy it better than the 450; as far as racing you will probably turn faster laps on the 450 but not that much different; now if you add in the dirt section the easier powerband to ride the dirt might make a difference; all in all its personal preference ; but i am happy with it and plan on keeping it;
