Laffy Track info

Carl Simon has officially taken over duties as Track marshal and groundskeeper for the Laffayette supermoto track. In the past year, the track has been resurfaced and a new dirt section added. The future plan is to have about 1 mile of race surface. Our intent is to try and promote the hell out of this track and grow the supermoto sport here in South Louisiana. He is in need of a new name. My sugestion was "Louisiana Supermoto Association" what do you guys think? Any ideas or suggesiton would be much appreciated.

sounds better without association to me, like just louisiana supermoto, or LA Supermoto, just my opinion, do you have pictures of the layout? im kinda interested since my street bike is of no further use to me.

I would use something else because they already have an LSA ( Louisiana Sportbike Association).

what do yall think ; i believe supermoto without mini in it anywhere works and helps to keep the name short enough; i like youre suggestion juice ; if you put louisiana supermoto-minimoto association it makes the name a little on the long side; i think most people think supermoto includes minimoto and if not oh well;

Stay tuned to this section, once the weather starts to cooperate we make trips often. He's done a ton of work since the last time I rode and it sounds like he's got it dialed-in. I can't wait to get at it.



AND I vote for Louisiana SuperMoto if leaving karts and mini out is an option.

"Louisiana Supermoto" I really like that. Carl let me know when you make a final decision, i will then set you up with a forum. As soon as it warms a bit, I would like to put together a photo track day event. We would need a great turnout and plaster the pics on every motorcycle forum in a 500 mile radius.

im not sure juice what do you think; maybe just put the last couple of threads are maybe the threads showing the pics of the track improvements ; if its not to much trouble; if its a big deal dont worry about it
