I know this was asked but cant find the thread so I will ask again.
How do I turn off the email notifications and PM notifications that are sent to my e-mail addy?

Control panel then edit options. This will not stop old thread notifications but will stop any new ones....

If you click post reply instead of typing in the white box at the bottom of the page. It will give you the option.

I always click post reply but never looked down to see (Additional Options) my bad.

If you have it turned off in your control panel then the default will be no notification. But you can override that with the toggle in the thread that you just spoke of. I keep mine turned off. In the case of a thread that interest me, then when i reply i toggle it on there.
