I guess this is the right place for this...
The stator died on my drz400 so i bought a moose racing stator from Denis Kirk. It arrives at my house and I install it. It doesn't work. Mattc re-installs it just to make sure i didn't do something stupid. I didn't, it doesn't work. Joe lets me borrow one of his (THANKS) so the bike runs.
I call Denis Kirk and they say that the warranty is handled directly with electrosports. ES doesn't answer the phone because they are "moving" and wants people to e-mail them. Well, three weeks later and after several e-mails i still haven't heard a word.
According to thumper talk, electrosports is in the process of being bought out.
In the end, I have a two broken stators and the assholes at ES aren't returning phone calls or e-mails. Shitty customer service. I can understand one e-mail slipping through the cracks but not 3 and 4.
DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS!!!

Hopefully you'll get it fixed with the wire swapping deal. Sounds like shitty QC to me.
Nice avatar, Josie.

update
ricky stator is awesome and is so far working great, however i managed to get a flat tire so not riding today
I e-mailed moose racing and within 2 minutes received an e-mail with updated contact info for electrosports. I contacted them with no answer and am playing the waiting game again.
joe, next time I'm in town I'll bring your stator back, thanks again man i owe you

Has this been resolved yet? I'm new to the party here so apologies if the answer is in another thread that I haven't seen.
OTOH with a sig line of "E-sport Sucks" I'm guessing it hasn't been done all that well yet.

sort of...I finally got hold of someone over there and sent them the stator back. they sent it back to me saying that the wires were in the harness wrong and it should work now but i haven't tried it yet
they were extremely rude on the phone which pretty much means I'll never buy anything associated with electrosports if i can help it
also see here for more drz stator drama

I know this is a little late. However, i use to have a moose/electrosport stator in my YZ. And yes they are SHIT!!!!.
I went ahead and ordered a Pro Racing Stator from some company in the UK. Granted it took a little time to make it to my doorstep. I will say that it has held its own and i have put it through alot of hell. It's probably been in the YZ about a year or close to it. And it gets ridden on a daily basis. So if all else fails, look into a Pro Racing stator. You will not be disappointed.
